NFR BADGE SCHEME
The New Forest Runners Badge Scheme is an annual personnel challenge and motivator. The award scheme sets diamond, gold, silver and bronze qualification times for different ages (both men and women), for a set race distances, namely:- marathon, half marathon, 10 miles, 10Km, 5miles, 5K, Wilverley timed route (2.2miles) and one mile. Times are also age adjusted. Download badge scheme times by clicking on relevant category below.
How to take part?
- Take a look at the Badge Scheme data appropriate to you (Mens/Ladies/Juniors). This has the relevant time for each badge (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) and each age category.
- Keep a record of your official times and dates of races.
- Having taken part in numerous races during the year, select your 3 best races of varying distances e.g Mile Run, Wilverley timed run, 5km (inc Park Run), 10 miles, Half marathon, Full marathon
- Look at your age category (at the time of your race) and take your times to see which badge zone/s you fall into. If you fall into more than one category for your best 3 races it is the lowest one that will count.
How to apply?
- Download the Badge Scheme Claim Form
- Email it to the New Forest Runners Committee or the badge scheme organiser badgescheme@newforestrunners.com no later than 10th December.
